We loved having Grandma visit this week!
Here they are at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks (aka the Ballard Locks) posing with the only two fish in the fish ladder. We also witnessed a poor humiliated sailboat operator get his boat turned around in the locks, forcing him to exit backwards to the laughter of the tourists and the disdain of the other boaters. As a fellow dork I felt the man's pain because if I had a sailboat, that would have been me for sure.
